After the incident of Grandfather's martyrdom in front of her grandson in occupied Kashmir by the occupying Indian army, Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has shaken the silent spectator world and said that how long will we remain silent on this oppression? ۔

 It may be recalled that another very tragic incident took place in Occupied Kashmir when a 60-year-old man was shot dead by the oppressive and occupying Indian Army during the so-called operation and the 3-year-old grandson of the martyred man sat on the body of Grandfather. He kept crying but there was no one to comfort him.

 A picture of a helpless 3-year-old boy sitting on grandfather's body and crying spread like wildfire on social media and the hashtag "Independence of Kashmir" started trending on Twitter once again.

 Actress Mehwish Hayat could not remain silent on this tragic incident and the world was silent on the cruelty and barbarism of the Indian Army in occupied Kashmir.

 In a statement on social networking site Twitter, the actress said that how can the world stand still and allow the Indian Army to commit such atrocities. How long will we continue to turn a blind eye to this oppression? 

This oppression must be stopped. Kashmiri lives are also important.
